Rachael

RachaelI first met Rachael when she was a little girl. Rachael lived in the neighborhood and would stop by now and then to ask what I had in my refrigerator!  As I watched her grow up and go off to college, I wondered if our paths would ever cross again and coincidentally they have. She has lived in Charleston South Carolina, a town with a reputation for good food and Chicago, a town with a reputation for people who eat food, almost any kind from almost any place. After training as a pastry chef at the Le Cordon Bleu program in Chicago and recently back in town after spending time seeing and savoring Italy, Rachael shares her thoughts on eating and cooking in Rome and we couldn’t be happier to share her experiences.

Rachael’s previous culinary adventures include working at Coco Pazzo and Next Restaurant in Chicago. She currently works at Elizabeth Restaurant.
